外籍旅客租車條件Rental Requirements for Foreign Travelers

■外籍人士需提供以下文件(入境30天內還車)

Foreign nationals must provide the following documents (if returning the vehicle within 30 days of entry):

✔境外地址

Foreign Address

✔護照影本

Passport copy

✔原國當地駕照

Original Domestic Driver’s License

✔有效IDP國際駕照

International Driving Permit (IDP)

✔簽證或居留證或出入境證明

Visa, residence permit, or entry/exit record

✔信用卡(有效期六個月內)

Credit card (valid for at least six months)

■港澳人士需提供以下文件(入境30天內還車)

✔境外地址

Foreign Address

✔護照影本

Passport copy

✔國當地駕照

Original Domestic Driver’s License

✔有效IDP國際駕照

International Driving Permit (IDP)

✔簽證或居留證或出入境證明

Visa, residence permit, or entry/exit record

✔入台證

租車須知

1.台灣法規認可之國際駕照為International Driver's Permit (簡稱IDP)，其餘之國際駕照及翻譯件(如KIDA、KIDL、IDL)在台灣皆不適用。

Taiwan only recognizes the International Driving Permit (IDP). KIDA, KIDL, IDL, and other types of licenses are not accepted.

2.IDP國際駕照與駕照是否適用，請上台灣監理站查詢。若非本國認可之駕照，所產生之罰單及事故相關費用將由駕駛人自行負擔。

To verify whether an IDP (International Driving Permit) and your original license are valid for use in Taiwan, please check with the official Taiwan Motor Vehicle Office (MVO).Any fines or accident-related expenses incurred while using an unrecognized license will be the sole responsibility of the driver.

3.外籍人士、大陸港澳人士如於入境30天後還車，需備證件：護照、居留證、國際駕照簽證或本國駕照、信用卡(有效期六個月內)。
